Hawick Belles are holding taster sessions to try and encourage some new women to come along for a cycle. After the past two years of COVID restrictions, the Hawick Belles are hoping to get back to some normality and are getting ready to pedal their way to a great Spring and Summer of cycling.
They are holding taster sessions which are a great way for beginners and those wanting to get back into cycling to come along and enjoy a pedal with like minded women. The emphasis is on enjoyment and the breeze leaders will be there to advise and encourage everyone along. No one is ever left behind on the rides and all they ask is for everyone to wear a helmet and have a bike which is safe and in good working order.
The weekly rides from Hawick are held each Wednesday starting on 6th April and from Denholm on a Monday starting on 11th April, both at 6pm. They will be starting off gently with a few miles to start with and build on this over a four week period.
The group will also be having social rides for the current Belles, which they hope, will attract a great turnout.
For further details on the group and the taster sessions, please request to join the Hawick Belles Breeze Facebook page and register at letsride.co.uk where you can sign up.
