Steve was born somewhere north of Glasgow and during the 80s while studying in Newcastle he went on tour with the likes of R.E.M., The Housemartins, The Christians and B.A.D to name just a few. He also worked as a volunteer at the Riverside studios in Newcastle Before joining the Military.
Steve hosts a show called The Thursday Alternative, which you can hear ever other Thursday at 7pm. (That’s why we call it The Thursday Alternative!)
Steve has as a passion for live music and music that is just a wee bit different. Expect to hear tracks from the likes of the psychedelic years of the late 60s and early 70s right through to today’s Indie scene, plus a smattering of tracks from Scottish bands.
As if that wasn’t enough, he will also be digging into his own vinyl vault to bring you some hidden gems from the past 5 decades.
