AMPLIFY – HOW TO BE IN A BAND!
Date: Mondays from 26th October
Time: 6.30 pm to 8.30 pm
Venue: The Arches, Heart of Hawick
For those aged 14 to 18 years who are interested in the fundamentals of tech, bringing a band together and connecting with the crowd.
Finale will be a performance on the Heart of Hawick stage on the 5th December!

FIT STEPS CHAIR DANCE
Date: Tuesdays
Time: 11.00 am – 12.00 pm
Venue: Denholm Village Hall
Join us and dance the Rumba, Jive and American Smooth in confidence-boosting, easy-to-follow routines. Also included is our social section where you can enjoy a cuppa and chat. A warm welcome awaits you.

STAND UP COMEDY WORKSHOPS
Date: Tuesdays
Time: 7.00 pm – 9.00 pm
Venue: Heart of Hawick
A series of free workshops, offered as part of the Scottish Mental Health Arts Festival. Join the award-winning Scottish comedian Jojo Sutherland and learn techniques that explore and discover shared experiences, opposing views and different expectations.

RECOVERY CAFE
Date: Every Wednesday
Time: 3.30 pm – 5.30 pm
Venue: Evergreen Hall
The Recovery Cafe is open to anyone aged 16 and over and in recovery from substance use or who is supporting someone who is. The cafe is run by people with lived experience.
Pop along for support, signposting and a bite to eat!

FREE JUNIOR TENNIS SESSIONS
Date: Fridays and Saturdays

For those aged 4 to 18 years, these sessions take place on Fridays and Saturdays. Starting on April 20th, places are limited.

ARTS AND CRAFTS FOR NEUROLOGICAL CONDITIONS
Date: Fortnightly on Fridays
Time: 1.00 – 2.30 pm
Venue: Denholm Church Hall
The Parkinsons Arts and Crafts group is open to those with other neurological conditions, including those with mobility issues.
Class is free, and refreshments are provided. Just turn up!
You will be made very welcome.

SCOTTISH BORDERS CARS AND COFFEE
Date: Sundays
Time: 9.00 am start
Venue: Abbey Bridge Coffee House, Jedburgh
All types of cars welcome – Supercars, Hot rods, Hot Hatches, lowriders, track cars etc!
Arrive between 9-10 for an opportunity to talk cars, meet new people, grab a coffee and then at 10 an optional run up to the Border Viewpoint!

CHILDREN’S PRE-LOVED CLOTHING EVENT

Venue: Evergreen Hall
Organised by the Clothes Loop.
Come along and choose a selection of pre-loved children’s clothing (birth to 12 years).
The advert says “Pay as you Feel”, so we think that means you pay what you feel is a reasonable price.
You can also donate your own preloved children’s clothes as well.

FUNDRAISING SHOW JUMPING COMPETITION

BORDERS YOUTH THEATRE ON TOUR!

Bringing R.L. Stevenson’s Treasure Island to a stage near you, Borders Youth Theatre Seniors are about to begin working on their Autumn production.
