A 15-year-old boy has been charged in connection with road traffic offences after an off-road bike was seized in Hawick.
Police were on a patrol in the Lower Mansfield Road area of the town when they stopped the boy on the bike around 4.30pm on Tuesday, 8 April.
A report will be sent to the relevant authority.
Constable Robbie Reilly from Community Policing in Hawick said: “We are aware of concerns in the community relating to off-road bikes and associated anti-social behaviour. This kind of activity will not be tolerated and we will continue to carry out patrols and make enquiries to trace those responsible. I would encourage anyone with concerns or information to speak to officers or contact us via 101.”
