What personal data we collect and why we collect it
If you send us an email using the Contact Form on our website, or by submitting a song request from our Listen Live Player, we may use this email address to contact you again about the message you have sent us. We will never share your contact information with anyone outside the organisation and we will normally discard any messages received, on a regular basis. (Usually one month).
When you use the Contact Us form on our website, your computer will give you the chance to save cookies so you can store your name and email address to avoid you having to enter this information again. These cookies will last for one year.
If you have emailed us about volunteering, then we may save your information for a period of up to one year so we can contact you again with updates on opportunities available.
Similarly, if you have contacted us about advertising, we may save your information for a period of up to one year so we can contact you again with details on future campaigns/offers.
All emails may be checked through an automated spam detection/anti virus service provided by a third party as part of our hosting service.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracing your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
Listening Live
When you listen to TD9 Radio online we will log your IP address, geographical location (country), operating system (eg Windows), browser used (or device used) and how long you listen for. This ensures we comply with all licensing requirements. Your IP address data will be stored by our server to produce statistics which will in turn be passed on to PPL (our music licensing body) so they can calculate the fees we need to pay to broadcast music online. This data is normally stored by our server for up to one year.
