We are all aware of the Cost of Living Crisis and how this will affect us, but many families in this community are facing the heart-breaking choice between heating and eating. For these families, Christmas will look very different – and that’s where you can help.
We all wish that appeals such as this were not necessary, but the reality is they are.
TD9 Radio has joined forces with The Salvation Army in Hawick to provide Christmas gifts for children and young people who would receive very little, or even nothing at all on Christmas morning. You can help by providing a new, unwrapped gift. The Salvation Army will ensure that your gift will find its way to a well-deserved home, where it will light up the face of a child or young person.
You can drop off your new and unwrapped gift at the Salvation Army Citadel in Croft Road or at the charity shop on the High Street. There’s also a drop off point in Hawick library during their normal opening hours.
TD9 Radio and The Salvation Army, together we can be a star and light up a child’s Christmas this year!
