Further to an appeal by Police Scotland to trace the whearabouts of 55 year old Jacqueline Trimby, the body of a woman was found near Burnfoot at around 2pm today, Wednesday 2nd August.
Although the woman has yet to be formally identified, the family of Jacqueline Trimby, missing since yesterday, has been informed. Jacqueline was last seen in Chay Blyth Place, between 10 and 11am on Tuesday 1 August, walking her dogs.
There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
