Wullie was born and bred in Galashiels and his musical roots go back to Aquarius Discos in the 70s. He has worked in various venues across the Borders including a long standing stint with Tramps Disco. Although hailing from Gala, Wullie feels more at home in Hawick after moving here.
Although he gave up being a mobile DJ in the late 90s he has never lost his passion for music and that’s what encouraged him to get in touch with TD9 Radio. His first musical love would have to be rock but he likes a wide range of music from heavy metal to the dancefloor fillers.
Wullie presents three programmes on TD9 Radio. His Monday Music Club can be heard at 6pm. If you like your music a bit harder, then why not join him at 7pm on a Friday for the TD9 Rock Show. Finally, you can hear him every Saturday from 12 noon until 3pm with the All Day Breakfast Show! Each week he’ll play a mix of music from the 60s to the 90s with the odd newer track thrown in for good measure.
